All ladies are invited to meet on February 13th at 11:30AM at the church for a business meeting, followed by lunch and fellowship around noon. Kathy Giske from Middle East Partners will tell us about her ministry with Christians living in areas where it is difficult for them to worship openly. She spent a week with refugees in Greece last summer, and will tell us about her experience there as well. We recently added Kathy’s ministry to our yearly giving list, so this will be a great opportunity to learn more about her mission and to help us pray for her work and for the Christians who need her help. The next meeting will be on Wednesday, December 12th at 11:30AM at the church. Please bring a salad to share for lunch. If you cannot bring a salad, please come anyway so we can enjoy your company. The Women’s Association met at the church in September for a business meeting, lunch and program. Margaret Kulkin gave a very interesting and informative talk and power point slide presentation about Tyler and Rochelle Holm’s ministry in Malawi. Tyler helps train future pastors, teachers and church leaders. The Women’s Association will meet to enjoy lunch together at the Pancake Haus on September 12th at noon. We are trying a new format this year. Some meetings will be lunches out and some will be meetings at church with a business meeting, lunch, and a guest speaker, as in the past. In October, Margaret K. will share information from Tyler and Rochelle Holm, the missionary couple she and Ruth met for lunch. |
