Baby "Sprinkle" for Amy and Mike – After Worship
Let’s come together to celebrate Amy and Mike as they prepare to welcome their second child, baby Joseph, expected to arrive in late July!
We're hosting a Baby Sprinkle—a lighthearted gathering to "sprinkle" them with love and support as they grow their family.
How You Can Help "Sprinkle" Them:

Diapers (Costco preferred)
Gift cards for baby supplies
Baby clothes and toys for Joseph
Vegetarian-friendly meals (prepared frozen or meal vouchers for after Joseph arrives)
Babysitting vouchers for Olivia – Help may be needed when labor begins or after Joseph is born. Taking Olivia out to the park or a fun activity is also a great way to support!

Please bring all gifts unwrapped – let’s keep it eco-friendly!

CONGREGATIONAL LIFE

Fellowship hour continues in the Friendship Hall after worship each Sunday.
Game night was held at 7pm in the Friendship Hall at church on Saturday, May 11, we look forward to continuing game night on the 2nd Saturday of each month. Everyone is invited to attend and to bring a favorite game.

We all enjoyed the potluck lunch held in April and would like to schedule another all-church potluck in June. Please let me know your preferences as to a date and time.

Our first “Crafternoon” craft day was held following worship on May 19 and was attended by 6 people. Please bring the crafts you are working on and join us on the 3rd Sunday of each month. We are enjoying coloring time even if you do not bring a craft.

Home Communion

You’re invited to join us for Home Communion - We will continue to gather over the internet to share the Lord’s Supper together. On Sunday, September 5th at 1 PM we will gather via Zoom for home communion together. Please have your own bread (simple is best), and grape juice / wine or other beverage common to your home. You may “Zoom in” in from your phone, Smartphone, or computer. Zoom instructions for all EPC meetings can be found at the bottom of this page.

We have special procedures for using the church building during COVID-19 Please log in and log out whenever you use the church building. On the form provided, check the boxes for the areas of the church you visit. Currently there are no meetings scheduled at the church building and staff is using the facility on a limited basis. We also ask that you monitor your own symptoms and if you experiencing any that may indicate COVID-19, please do not visit the church building.

Membership – Is it time for you to join?

Because of the timing of the pandemic, we have not offered an orientation to our church community, which includes information about membership, in over a year. Membership in the congregation is primarily a public witness to your faith in Jesus Christ. Secondarily, it opens doors for service in the leadership of the congregation and to having a voice and vote in all decisions that come to the congregation. Pastor Amy and an elder from the Session are available to offer an orientation class via zoom for anyone who is interested. Contact her or leave a message with the church office and we’ll find a mutually agreeable time to meet for the orientation.

Building Re-opening Plans

7/1/2020

Your session is working on the required re-opening document that will allow us to re-open the building for different types of gatherings starting as early as Phase 4 of the Washington state COVID-19 phases for Snohomish County. A task force has been formed and has begun meeting. On Sunday, June 28th at 2 PM (following our 1 PM check-in), we invite you to log-in by Zoom to ask questions of the task force regarding our re-opening plans. We will schedule other opportunities to learn more as we get closer to re-opening the building for group use.
